Indian Celebrity Weddings that we all love

For us Indians, Bollywood is entertainment, and for a few, it is everything. We have witnessed some of the most heartwarming weddings in the past few years. Indian celebrity weddings have always been about grand celebrations, but during this pandemic that has not been seen, but the vibe remained the same.

Be it Virushka or Deepveer’s intimate wedding, Shahid & Mira or Kareena & Saif’s royal celebrations or Nickyanka or Ambani’s big fat soirees, and we saw every kind of wedding. I should admit it; we did love it to bits.

During this pandemic, a few celebrities got hitched, and social media went crazy about their pictures. Let’s check them out!

Celebrity weddings are usually a grand affair that screams with celebrations lasting for days and having eminent personalities from the film actors and actresses in attendance. However, the obvious big fat Indian weddings turned low-key amid the pandemic this year, even for celebrities who tied the knot in 2020. From Rana Dagubbati to Neha Kakkar to Kajal Aggarwal, here’s a round of celebrities who got married during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Gauahar Khan and Zaid Darbar

Gauahar Khan, an actress and a dancer, married an actor and a dancer Zaid Darbar while keeping a low-profile wedding on December 25, 2020. They dated for a while, and he soon became the love of her life. The celebration went on for a while on social media with the hashtag #GaZabKaHaiDin.

After the wedding, the celebration was brought to an end with a grand reception where famous personalities like filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali, designer Manish Malhotra, and many more were invited.

Neha Kakkar and Rohanpreet Singh

The song made this wedding a big hit, and when the announcement was made on October 9, fans took it as a prank. Little that they knew, the couple got hitched on October 24, according to Hindu and Sikh rituals.

Their hashtag for the wedding was #NehuDaVyah which I still see being used. Their wedding functions took place in Mumbai, Delhi, and Chandigarh.

Punit Pathak and Nidhi Moony Singh

The very famous choreographer and actor Punit J Pathak married his beloved girlfriend Nidhi Moony Singh at a resort in Lonavala on December 11. Their wedding celebration lasted for two days.

Niti Taylor and Parikshit Bawa

Niti Taylor, a TV actress, got married to Pariskshit Bawa on August 13 with an intimate number of people at Gurudwara in Gurugram. She was engaged to her now-husband for 2 years, an army officer, and decided to go public in October. Niti is known for her work in popular television serials.
