One of the greatest on-screen duos Bollywood has ever seen, Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol continue to capture hearts with their incredible chemistry and charisma. Be it a movie, an interview, or a film promotion, the audience simply can’t get enough of them; similarly, a recent meeting between the two has the fans excited.
The duo started their journey with director Abbas-Mustan’s film, Baazigar, which featured Khan in a negative role and became one of the most talked about films of their career. They have done a total of seven films together, and all of them were super hits.
Among all the movies the duo appeared in, Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge continues to stand out and hold a special place in everyone’s hearts. The 1995 film is still playing at Mumbai’s Maratha Mandir today. Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol recently reunited at the present Red Sea Film Festival in Saudi Arabia because their feature DDLJ was the festival’s opening film. A fanclub called salaam venky era released a video of them acting out the famous scene on Twitter.
Bollywood today is primarily focused on remakes. Therefore, it wouldn’t be out of the question if they considered bringing them back for DDLJ Part 2 given that Shah Rukh is poised to make his long-awaited return to Yash Raj Productions with the release of Pathaan in January of 2019.
After 2019, SRK is planning to make a comeback, and he will also be starring in Dunki with Rajkumar Hirani. After his lengthy role in Brahmastra, he once again cemented his stardom, and his followers are eagerly anticipating his forthcoming films. As for Kajol, her movie Salaam Venky, which is on euthanasia, is all set to release on 9th December 2022.
