Weddings aren’t just one significant day for most Indians. It is a pre- and post-wedding celebration that includes the sangeet, menehdi, haldi, reception, and other activities. The Mehendi function, which has been glamorised by the Bollywood industry, is one of the most important events.
According to legend, the darker the mehendi colour, the more loving the marriage would be! Some of the most famous Bollywood brides also chose beautiful Indian designs for their mehendi ceremonies. Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif, who are rumoured to be marrying today, are expected to hold an elaborate mehendi celebration with the top mehendi artists in the industry producing exquisite designs.
Deepika Padukone looked stunning in a Sabyasachi dress for her mehendi event at her lovely wedding on Lake Como. Her exquisite mehendi artwork ran all the way up to her elbows and included everything from peacocks to lotuses, as well as henna-covered finger caps.
The Sultan actress married skipper Virat Kohli in Italy as well. In a bright floral lehenga, she painted a lovely image and flaunted her paisley henna artwork that reached her forearms. The skipper also flaunted a simple artwork on his palm as he stood with his stunning wife.
The actress’ henna reached all the way up to her elbows for her opulent wedding in Mumbai. Sonam reportedly requested elephant and lotus themes be woven into her mehendi design because they are significant to her and her husband Anand Ahuja.
The actress, who married Aditya Dhar in an intimate ceremony earlier this year, made her henna design as basic as her nuptials. The actress didn’t overdo the henna, leaving plenty of space on her hands with circular motifs on the palms and detailed patterns on her fingers and wrists.
In a private ceremony, the actress married her spouse, Angad Bedi. She proudly displayed the paisley, floral, and ethnic Indian motifs that had been left on her hands by the henna. Dhupia’s finger caps were also entirely covered in henna. She wore a beautiful white saree with crimson bangles and a toothy, cheerful grin!
