If you check the internet with the trends, you would find a never-ending list and you would never be able to select one. You need to learns a few basic do’s and dont’s when it comes to fashion and I have learnt it the hardway so why not make sure you always look chic.

 Dress in Three

This is a simple method to dress up. Use three colors while making an outfit. Even if you are mixing patterns, prints, or colors make sure they link to each other otherwise it would be a disaster. This will not only help you look chic for every occasion but also narrow down your options while picking out an outfit.

There are a few rules when it comes to playing with three colors. If you are wearing white, that would not exactly count as a color. Try wearing black pants, a white shirt, with a bright red blazer and you can still add a print texture or a color. Also, prints count as a different color. But when you are using prints make sure the rest of the outfit is simple.

Timeless over trendy

Before you decide that you do not have clothes to wear, check again. Try adding accessories and change the look go from basic to chic. Always keep an eye on the sales and clearance sale.

As fun as buying new clothes is, you can spend it buying on getting accessories like a necklace at the thrift store or a classic leather jacket or black sheath dress. Anything in neon gives a vintage yet classic look.

How to Thrift Well

I must say, thrift stores are a gift to us shoppers. But, it takes time and practice to select the perfect fits from so many clothes. Your eye gets trained to pick the gems out of the trash.
