Hema Malini is without a doubt one of the most stunning women to ever grace the screen. It’s not for nothing that she’s known as Bollywood’s “dream girl.” And Dharmendra was hailed as Bollywood’s first “He-man.” Isn’t it always the case that when these two come together, magic happens?

“Love is togetherness,” the pair tweeted a few months ago on their 41th wedding anniversary, with a stunning photo and the words “Love is togetherness.” The ideal girl’s gushing expression says it all: their love was always meant to be!

When they were filming the movie Tum Haseen Main Jawaan, the two met on the set. Because Dharmendra was previously married, Hema was initially hesitant to pursue anything with him. At the time, he had been married to his lovely wife Prakash Kaur for more than ten years. He also had two children with her, Bobby and Sunny, who are both well-known to us. Dharmendra, on the other hand, fell in love with her and wooed her despite this.

Hema, who had previously rejected countless suitors such as Sanjeev Kumar and Jeetendra, couldn’t help but fall for this attractive man.

Hema claims she was drawn to Dharmendra because he was both powerful and quiet. There was a rumour that when While filming Sholay, Dharmendra bribed some of the set’s light lads to frequently disrupt the lights.

The numerous retakes that followed provided him with more opportunities to hug Hema close to him!

In many interviews, Hema has stated that the finest days of her life occurred during the wooing phase. Hema tells us about the moment Dharmendra went away from his set in Bangalore, giving us a look into their intense relationship.

""

At the time, Hema was in Nasik. Nobody knew where he had gone and was very concerned about his safety. When Hema awoke the next day, she was greeted with a wonderful surprise. Dharmendra had only come to Nasik to see her, and he greeted her with a simple “I love you.” “To love so sincerely, you must have that heart,” Hema continues, blushing.

""

As a result, they were in a happy relationship for several years before deciding to marry. Prakash Kaur, Dharmendra’s first wife, was adamant about not getting divorced. As a result, the pair chose to convert to Islam in order to marry. When Hema was 29 and Dharmendra was 44, they married in a Nikahnama ceremony. However, for a year, the nikah was kept a secret, following which Dharmendra and Hema Malini married in the customary Iyengar style. Both Dharmendra and Hema’s families were against the marriage, which should come as no surprise to anyone.

They also expressed their dissatisfaction with their decision to convert to Islam. But, in the end, everyone had to give in to the powerful. Accept the link of love that these two shared. Hema married Dharam only after her father died, to to the dismay of her mother, for her father was adamantly opposed to the marriage.

Their Iyengar wedding was straightforward. Hema Malini looked very stunning in her simple bridal gown, and one couldn’t help but think, “This is how every bride dreams of looking on her wedding day.” She accessorised with a gold netti chutti and a traditional saree (the South Indian matha patti).

Hema and Dharam have two daughters, Esha and Ahana, and have been married for 41years. Dharmendra maintains contact with both of his families. Theirs is an unusual connection, but the love that bonds them together is breathtaking to witness. Hema claims that one of the secrets to their good marriage is that she never feels possessive of Dharmendra. “I’m aware of who I am. So there’s no reason for me to be concerned.

""

I have faith in myself and in him. ‘Where are you, where are you?’ I don’t believe in asking. With a lovely laugh, she continues, “The man should be worried why I’m not asking him.” We’d like to congratulate this wonderful couple on their 41th wedding anniversary.
